The Strategic Difference

The Difference Is Not More People. It's the Right Person Owning the Build.

A larger builder can give you departments, handoffs, and layers. Chance gives you direct accountability — the person who talks through your ideas, studies your lot, manages the trades, and walks the final home with you is the same person responsible for the result.

Vision

Your Vision Gets Translated Before Construction Starts

You're not expected to speak construction language. Chance turns your ideas, sketches, saved photos, and priorities into something buildable before the first major commitment — so the home you picture is the home that gets drawn. He keeps active projects deliberately limited, so that work stays his.

Budget

Your Budget Is Protected by Clarity Up Front

The goal is to define the scope, selections, and site conditions before they become expensive surprises. Curious about numbers first? See what it costs to build in Georgetown — then the real number gets built around your actual lot and choices, not a guess.

Management

Your Build Is Personally Managed

Chance limits the work he takes on so he can stay close to the homes that carry his name. He's on your site — not a rotating cast of junior superintendents covering twenty builds — so every concrete pour, framing junction, and finish detail is verified by the man whose name is on the company. The building process and written warranty spell out exactly what that covers.

The Building Journey

What Happens After You Call Chance

The first conversation is not a sales trap — it's a practical conversation about your land, your vision, your budget, your timing, and whether the project is a fit. Chance manages every stage himself, and you have his direct number throughout. You'll have a written timeline before you sign anything — here's how long a custom home takes.

You talk through the vision

You sit down with Chance, look at your sketches, and talk about what matters — ideas, must-haves, budget range, lot status, and timeline. About an hour, no obligation, no deposit to talk — just a read on fit.

Chance studies the lot — or helps you evaluate one

For landowners, Chance reviews the site conditions that drive cost and design — topography, wind, solar, heritage oaks. Still looking? He helps you judge whether a lot supports the home you want, so you never design against the property. Start with the rural lot evaluation guide.

The home starts becoming visible

You walk through a high-definition 3D rendering before we break ground — seeing exactly how light pools in the kitchen at 8:00 AM, with zero guesswork about layout, scale, and materials. See our in-house 3D design workflow.

Scope, selections & budget get defined

You work through the decisions that shape the real number — structural materials, cabinetry, fixtures, and finishes, with expert guidance. No rigid 'packages'; every selection is tailored to your taste and built to last.

Construction begins under direct supervision

You get a fully transparent contract — what you're quoted is what we build, with no hidden fees or surprise markups. Chance manages the trades, sequencing, and quality, and if anything changes you hear it directly from him.

Final walk-through — and a builder who still answers

The relationship doesn't end at closing. Final walk-through, written warranty in hand, and when something comes up after move-in (it always does), you call the same number you've had since day one.

What Clients Say After Living Through the Process

850+ verified reviews built over 20 years of active general contracting — custom acreage homes, historic Old Town restorations, structural remodels. One builder accountable for all of it.

“Chance Leigh Homes built our house in 2019. We had a sketch of a floor plan and he met with us and explained everything. Chance is patient, professional, and friendly. Our house exceeded our expectations and we’ve lived in it 3 years now. Chance is a great project manager, coming in at budget and several months early. The house is solid, weatherproof (think February 2021), and easy to live in. Chance will address any problem, no matter how small.”

Sallia B.Custom Home Owner, Georgetown TX

“What truly sets this team apart is their attention to detail and the way they make the entire building process feel organized and stress-free. Chance genuinely gets involved in bringing your vision to life. They’re always accessible, responsive, and transparent, and they stay on schedule and within budget — which speaks volumes about their organization. They don’t just deliver a beautiful house; they build a solid, efficient home made to last.”

Victoria de la PazCustom Home Owner, Georgetown TX

“We have had the pleasure of living in a home built by Chance Leigh for the past 15 years, and it has been nothing short of a fantastic experience. The quality of the construction has stood the test of time. Chance was attentive to our needs and preferences, offering expert advice and solutions that truly personalized our home. The craftsmanship and attention to detail in every aspect of the house are commendable.”

Curtis WilsonCustom Home Owner — 15-Year Resident

“My home was struck by lightning in 2021 and completely destroyed. After much research of builders in the greater Georgetown TX area I selected Chance Leigh Custom Homes. Throughout the process his concern was what I wanted, rather than what was convenient for his company. I interviewed several builders… They are clearly a class builder.”

Performance Proof

Built to Perform, Not Just Photograph Well

Every Chance Leigh home is independently tested for air leakage and duct performance — the home is checked for the kinds of hidden problems buyers usually can't see during construction. You get the result as documentation, not as the builder's word for it.

What It Means For You

A Tighter, More Efficient, More Comfortable Home

Independent HERS testing means a tighter, more efficient home with performance documentation, better comfort, and fewer hidden construction questions. The result shows up every month, on your utility bill — and again years later, in a home that holds up. You get the rating documentation with your keys.

The Testing

Independently Verified on Every Build

A blower door and a duct blaster on every single build, measuring air leakage and duct performance — with HERS rating documentation and energy performance tied to long-term ownership. Proof the home was built right, not the builder's word for it.
